Tab Trade - Is It Worth Opening an Account
Tab Trade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
